Slade is the current president of the Alberta Chapter of the National Golf Course Owners Association (NGCOA) and also sits on the National NGCOA Board. Previously he spent 8 years on Nike’s Staff Player Board and is currently on Adidas Creator Board for Canada.

Working with a variety of small businesses, she understands the challenges and the rewards of success. Donna's background includes Agriculture, Retail, and Tourism.

"Cindy and I are the second generation in the Hardware business, We bought the Home Hardware here 20 years ago. We came from a small town in Saskatchewan where Cindy and I, along with my parents ran a Hardware store. We have been involved in the Hardware business for forty years.
When we first moved to Strathmore, we operated an 8000 sq ft hardware store downtown and moved to our new 18,000 sq ft location 10 years ago.
We have been the proud recipients for customer service awards over the years and our latest award from the Strathmore & District Chamber of Commerce Customer Service Business Excellence award 2019.
Our strongest asset is our staff they are the one’s who really take care of the customers."
Economic Development Officer, Wheatland County
Patrick has been working in the economic development and tourism field for the last 14 years in Alberta and BC and now is the Economic Development Officer for Wheatland County. He has developed and delivered customer service training in both provinces to small businesses, tourism operators and resorts. By modifying the program, he also provided training to unemployed and underemployed under contract with a WorkBC client.
